Maserati More Than Doubled Its Sales Record in 2013

The year of 2013 was quite agreeable for Maserati. With robust sales stemming from the redesigned Quattropore sedan, along with the debut of the more compact Ghibli, the Italian automaker more than doubled its all-time sales record of 9,000 set in 2008. It had, by the end of September 2013, totaled 22,500 in sales, which is rather significant for the ultimate aristocrat of automobiles.

While other automakers have taken bailouts and struggled to meet quotas, it seems that elegance and refinement are a timeless immunity to the world in which we live.

In response to such numbers, Maserati set an ambitious goal: reach 50,000 unit sales by 2015.
